Avotus has had a long and extensive relationship with first Nortel Enterprise Solutions and now Avaya, spanning a combined total of more than two decades. The relationship originated with Avotus’ development and testing of the framework for Meridian Administration Tools (MAT) and continued with the development of Optivity Telephony Manager (OTM),Telecom Billing System, MCS5100 and ultimately Telephony Manager TM 4.0.

Avotus has been a member of both the Nortel Developer Program and the Avaya DevConnect program, providing solutions for use with Nortel and Avaya enterprise voice and multi-media platforms. As a Nortel Developer Partner, Avotus engaged in formal product compatibility testing and collaboration on strategic technology and marketing activities.

As a current Technology partner of the Avaya DevConnect program, Avotus continues the relationship through the creation of unique solutions that integrate with Avaya products to meet customers’ needs and by working to acquire compliance with the latest Avaya platforms.

Avotus was the first usage management/call accounting solution provider to be compliance tested on platforms including Meridian, Business Communications Manager (BCM), Communication Server 1000 (CS 1000) and Multimedia Communication System 5100 (MCS 5100). Concurrent with the release of Telephony Manager 4.0, Avotus is able to provide all TM solutions and Professional services including:

  • TM 4.0 software
  • Onsite or remote configuration and training
  • TM Rates and Tables
  • OTM to TM Software Upgrades
  • Customer Support Maintenance
With the acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions by Avaya, customers may wonder how their Avotus contracts for TM will be affected. Avaya has assured customers that Communication Server 1000 Release 6.0 will continue to be supported until 2016. There is also a possibility that new releases may become available in the future. Avotus will continue to support the current TM version and any future versions as they become available.

Avotus solutions have been also been tested with Avaya Aura Session Manager and Avaya Aura Communication Manager. Avotus has successfully tested the following solutions with various Avaya product offerings and are committed to adding newer technologies to this list, as they become available.
  • Avotus Professional (with CS 1000)
  • Avotus ICM Usage Management (with CS 1000)
  • ICM Usage Management (with Avaya Aura Session Manager)
  • ICM Usage Management (with Avaya Aura Communication Manager)
  • Avotus Professional (with CS 1000)
  • Avotus Professional (with CS 1000 Release 7.5)
