Jayraj Chheda, CEO & CFO

Jayraj is responsible for strategic direction and driving operational excellence of Avotus Corporation. He also acts as the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He has been working with Avotus for over 8 years.

He is a certified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has over 18 years of experience in operations, global finance and accounting, transition of accounting and financial processes, helping enterprises improve profitability, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage in a broad range of markets including telecommunications, manufacturing, accounting and capital markets.

Prior to joining Avotus in 2009, Jayraj worked for State Street Syntel Sourcing Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the world’s second largest custodian State Street Bank, and was managing assets under management of over $100 billion for US-based pension funds. He also worked for RSM McGladrey FPO India, one of the largest accounting firms in USA and several other organizations in various roles.

 

Pascal Herman, Director - Account Management and Service Delivery

Pascal has over 20 years of experience concentrated in the development of innovative solutions to meet the technological demands of clients.  As the leader of our Service Delivery Team, he ensures all Avotus clients receive superior responsive service.  He is accountable for the management and retention of all Avotus customers. Pascal brings a wide range of experience from his previous employment with Hydro-Québec and Micromédica where he specialized in client migrations, network installations, and a variety of high-tech, complex solutions. He has also managed and deployed extensive installation and migration projects for Société Québécoise d'Information Juridique, École des Hautes Études Commerciales and Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf.  Additionally, he has written user training guides for procedures and tracking of technical support requests.

Pascal obtained an IB and DCS degree in Computer Science from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Montreal and continued his studies at Polytechnique and Ecole Technologie Supérieur in Computer Science and Engineering. He also currently holds a license in financial security.

 

Amit Shrivastava, Global Head – Expense Management

Amit has more than 13 years of experience in the areas of Operations Management, Project Management, Client Servicing and Team Management. At Avotus, Amit is responsible for overall delivery and functioning of the processes, capacity planning and effective utilization of resources. He analyzes MIS reports and other statements with a view to reduce the defects in the processes and resolves client queries. His overarching goal is to achieve targets while adhering to the SLAs of the processes involving the handling of third-level escalations.

Amit has extensive experience managing and leading teams for running successful process operations. He is well-versed in developing procedures and service standards for business excellence. Amit is resourceful at maintaining relationships with clients to achieve quality service norms by resolving their service-related critical issues.

Prior to joining Avotus, Amit worked with HTMT Global Solutions and was responsible for Customer Relationship Management, Process Transition, People Management, Performance Management, Process Improvement and MIS. He has been associated with organizations like GTL Limited, ChoiceConnex, Info Vision Solutions, Voice Data Management and Fintax Management India Limited.

Amit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

 

Sandeep Jain, Vice President – Global Sales

Sandeep has been in the IT industry for over 33 years, with a vast experience in setting up new strategic operations with start-up organizations. Sandeep comes with extensive experience in Communication, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Transportation, SLED and Manufacturing industry verticals and has lived and worked in India, UK, Vietnam, Singapore, Canada and USA. 

Sandeep was part of the management team in the setup of IBM Vietnam, IBM Tivoli Operations in ASEAN and DataLinx Corp in its growth and acquisition by Aricent Inc.

An entrepreneur, technologist and thought leader, Sandeep, for several years, led the Business and Product strategy using Analytics and Reporting engine utilizing Unified Communication & Collaboration (UCC), for Digital Workforce for Enterprises. As part of this initiative, Sandeep co-authored many white papers.

Sandeep holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering and a Postgraduate degree in Business. 

 

Michael Gallen, IT Manager

Michael is a motivated IT professional managing, leading and supporting the IT team. As a hands-on senior IT leader, Michael is responsible for all aspects of the company’s Information Technology, which includes strategy, design, development and delivery of IT solutions. Michael has over 10 years of success leading IT teams to deliver and support solutions to meet enterprise objectives. Prior to joining Avotus, Michael worked as a consultant in IT Security, Network Support, Server Support and Applications Development. Michael has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and certificates in Networking and Telecommunications.
